<p>Okaaay so im a 13 yr old girl and i want to go on a diet. Please please please dont tell me that i dont need to go on a diet or anything. My weight is about 5-6 stone. I want to cut out all junk food. and the only exercise I want to do is swimming, <strong>yoga</strong>, or workouts i can do in my bedroom. I have no problem eating healthily. Can someone please make me a diet plan ( like a schedule) including food and exercise for like evrday of the week) obviously i have school (9-3:30) This would really help me and i will give you as many points as possible if you give me a good answer thankyou x</div>

<div class='bf_answers_answerblock'><B>Zulqarnain Malik Answered:</b><BR>Here are six simple tips that will have you losing weight in a balanced and healthy way and get slim on the process:</p>
<p>1. Lose weight with water.<br />Water is essential for everybody &#8211; it is also the key to losing weight. If you haven&#039;t been drinking enough water, your body has developed a pattern of storing water. This water retention equals extra unwanted weight.</p>
<p>By drinking more water, you are not only flushing out toxins, you are also teaching your body that it no longer needs to store water. Drink at least 60 ounces of water (about 8 glasses) a day. Boil water and sliced lemons, and drink this throughout the day to help with fluid retention. If you are still not sold on the merits of water, try this on for size: water is a natural appetite suppressant.</p>
<p>2. Soup up your weight loss program.<br />A simple dietary change will have you shedding pounds: eat a bowl of soup at least once a day. Nutritious, low-salt soups will nourish you as they flush waste from your body. People who eat a serving of soup daily lose more weight than those who eat the same amount of calories but don&#039;t eat soup. Go for homemade soup whenever possible, as canned soups are loaded with salt and chemicals.</p>
<p>3. Eat early to keep weight off.<br />The human body follows a circadian rhythm, which means that the same foods eaten at breakfast and lunch are processed differently than when eaten at dinner. Studies show that when you eat your daily protein and fat at breakfast you tend to lose weight and have more energy; however, eating the same things at dinner tend to increase tendencies toward weight gain. I suggest that you eat your last meal of the day by 7 p.m.</p>
<p>4. Eat smaller meals, more frequently.<br />Follow an eating schedule with five little meals every day. Eating steadily through the day keeps you from becoming famished and overeating at your next meal. Make a low-fat trail mix from raw almonds, pumpkin seeds, dried plum, and apples and have it available at all times to avoid the tempting lure of high-calorie snacks.</p>
<p>5. Adopt a balanced approach to your diet.<br />Most of the fad diet programs out there nowadays are extreme in a few recommended foods, or else deprive the body of food altogether. This works in opposition to our metabolism and the results usually don&#039;t last, producing a yoyo effect that depresses your metabolic function &#8211; not to mention your self-esteem. We are natural beings that need a balance of nutrition from all sources.</p>
<p>Your diet should consist of a balance of organic sources of lean protein, complex carbohydrates, whole grains, legumes, nuts, fruits, and vegetables. Instead of white rice and pasta, opt for brown rice, bulgur, millet, or buckwheat.</p>
<p>Eat more green, chlorophyll-rich foods such as broccoli, kale, spinach, and asparagus. Eliminate candy, sugar, soda, and all simple sugars from your diet. Excess sugar ends up being stored as fat in your body, which results in weight gain. Also, keep dairy to a minimum because most dairy products are high in saturated fat. Avoid fatty foods, processed or fried foods.</p>
<p>6. Walk off the weight.<br />The No. 1 cause of weight gain is inactivity. Physical activity is the key to speeding up your metabolism and burning excess calories. The best way to be physically active is to use your legs! Walk as often and as long as you can. Always take the stairs instead of the elevator.</p>
<p>Step outside during your break at work and take a walk around your building. Consider joining a local hiking club. Try taking a walk 30 minutes in the morning or 30 minutes in the early evening.</p>

However, you are giving her great advice by telling her to build good eating habits and not starve herself and by putting her through exercise that is fat-burning and sweat-inducing. Commitment is a big part, but don&#039;t confuse commitment for fanaticism, like working out eight hours a day (extreme case there). Normally, it&#039;s safe to lose one, two, maybe three pounds a week; to be honest three is pushing it a little bit. </p>
<p>Also, these diets that people post are often extremely harmful since depriving yourself of food sends your body into &quot;starvation mode&quot; where it conserves all that you eat as fat. It&#039;s devastating to your body and your mind. Try instead to limit fat intake to 20-30% daily and try to avoid saturated and trans fats. Unsaturated fats are the necessary fats that your body needs to operate.</p></div>

<h2>Steve Asked: How to get off a weight loss plateau?</h2>
<p>Back in October 2011 I weighed in at about 354 lbs. Now in May 2012, I weigh in at about 286 lbs. I&#039;ve done this by working out 3-4 times a week (lifting, running, occasional <strong>yoga</strong> &amp; a little cycling for warming up) The thing is, I feel like I look the exact same in the mirror. Most of my weight is in my stomach &amp; I&#039;m really ready to take my work out to the next level. I&#039;ve always been on the stronger side so I would like to get &#039;buffer&#039; and &#039;look better&#039; and lose my belly fat. I watch what I eat as good as I can for a 22 year old.</p>
<p>Average day would include high fiber wheat cereal with strawberries and skim milk &#8211; mid morning snack would be some cucumbers &#8211; lunch would be turkey and tomato sandwich on whole wheat and some carrots &#8211; afternoon snack would be a banana &#8211; pack of oatmeal before my workouts when i left and run &#8211; dinner can of tuna or an egg loaded with a variety of veggies cooked in olive oil. I try to drink as much water as I can during the day. Now of course I go out for dinner on Friday nights &amp; drink a beer or 2 and eat a little out of the ordinary (grilled chicken sandwich &amp; some fried pickles &#8211; theyre to addicting and I can&#039;t get EVERYTHING up). I have not had dessert, fast food, soda in what feels like years. I believe my diet is on the right track.</p>
<p>Can I please have some advice on diet, strength training, work out schedule, or anything that will help me get my weight loss and work outs to a whole nother level would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!<br />Category</div>

<div class='bf_answers_answerblock'><B>Blndy 150811 Answered:</b><BR>I practice <em>yoga</em> regularly, but my main purpose for doing so is to stretch out my muscles. They get very sore and tight from my workouts. I think <u>yoga</u> can help you lose weight if you are severely overweight, because at that point any kind of physical activity can be strenuous. However, if you are moderately fit already, I would not expect visible results from yoga alone.</div>

<div class='bf_answers_answerblock'><B>ROCKY Answered:</b><BR>Yoga is great for muscle definition. Stretching is extremely important when you want to enhance and train your body to display a strong lean cut. </p>
<p>To lose weight you must eat a balance diet, use exercise resistance bands, run on treadmill or use something like the air climber to burn more calories than you intake.</p>
<p>1. Visualize yourself being at the weight you wish to be. </p>
<p>2. Juice fresh fruits and vegetables everyday. You would alternate once day fruits and next day vegetables.Fruits contain water and sugar so you want to eat less fruits than vegetables. Try to find a balance.</p>
<p>The reason you want to juice is simply because the body will not be forced to break down the food to the point where most of the nutrients will be destroyed by stomach acid. By drinking it the nutrients are absorbed faster and utilized more efficiently by the body.</p>
<p>3. Planks, leg lifts, leg hip thrusts, jumping jacks, jogging and exercise bands will enhance weight loss.</p>
<p>4. Eat a healthy breakfast everyday!</p>
<p>5. For snacks replace all junk foods with walnuts, raisins, granola or fruits and vegetables.</p>
<p>6. Eliminate all diary! It&#039;s loaded with hormones and makes it very difficult to lose weight.</p>
<p>7. Try some relaxing mediation. There are subliminal weight loss training products available like those sold by brainsync technology. </p>
